Just drop it to one of your pockets. It's already in rugged, dust and water resistant container. A little better option is to attach a piece of elastic band in some rarely occupied spot in your pocket to eliminate bulk. The very nice spot (Ok, - for me) in the jeans-like pants is the space near the fly, at the very top spot of the pocket. A lighter, battery, or something like that - wouldn't be noticeable, not from inside, not from outside. It's not that much of a work to upgrade most of you outdoor clothes this way.
By the way, I'm carrying my EDC in the Scott eVest Tactical System 4.0 fleece jacket (in Vest configuration). Check it out - a lot of innovative clothing modification ideas for us: http://www.scottevest.com/v3_store/40_Tactical_System.shtml
