I'm not sure what type/model of light you are talking about, but I suspect that you could get a light with a lanyard ring type fitting on the end cap, then add your own chain/swivel/clip as required. While not an LED, my old Maglite Solitare has a small loop on the butt that I have attached a small split ring to, it would be easy to add a swivel and/or clip to that if I wanted...
