I carry a BOB in my vehicle, and I use it for day long bush walks. The negative thing is it weighs 13kg ( 28.6lb ). Not light but it has ALL I need. The reason I carry the whole kit is because I often walk in very isolated rainforest and as my BOB has everything I may need in a emergency I have no choice but to carry it. Has anyone else weighd their BOB.
