Gregory backpacks are good, as well as North Face backpacks, which I own. Are you going dayhiking, camping from a car, or backpacking for several nights in the backcountry? IMHO... The more you buy, the more you save... oops sorry! The more you pay, the higher quality of the backpack (generally).
