First start with Doug Ritter's Medical Kits write-up and Adventure Medical Kits. AMK has a wide spectrum of kits depending on how many people, how many days and activity. Per DR, "Fundamentals" and "Backcountry" are the best choices from Adventure Medical. However, the Mountain Series Day Tripper is a best seller and if you compare the contents with the Ultralight .9, the Ultralight looks better to me and it costs less. I bought one of the larger kits for the truck and have an Ultralight .9 for backpack. YMMV which is why there are so many different kits.
