I do that with the 1" webbing, but it works better on the back. But, what I've got is about as field expedent as it gets, there isn't a single stitch. So sure, send it, another set of eyes looking at my "problem" is always welcome.

The biggest reason for wanting it on my chest is that it doesn't get hung up. The pack only sticks out a couple inches more than my gut does. <img src="/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> Might as well have all the bulk up front. And, if I keep everything in this, and then have time to load a backpack, I can shed in layers if I have to.
