Hello to all! Although i've been a patron of the site and forums for a while now, I just joined today. I have to admit, I've learned more from this forum than about 25 sites combined. I think this is a great way to communicate with each other and share ideas. <br><br>Anyway, I have a question about a knife I recently purchased (unused) from a friend, a Ka-Bar Next Generation Tanto. Are these knives quality (quality for survival purposes) and what if any are the differences and dis/advantages of a tanto point. Personally, I love the knife, its very strong and it has a special coating to prevent damage from sea water and other elements.<br><br>Thank you!<br><br>John McIntire
