I just read a review on Flashlight Reviews in which they mention that once the batteries have gone dead in the of the Garrity Fun-Tastick Glo Lite the diffuser tube can be pulled off and will fit tightly over an Arc AAA flashlight and can be removed again easily.

They also mention that the Garrity Glo Lite is brighter than chemical light sticks.
