After the news story I recently heard about hog industry farms accidently spilling hundreds of chemicals into local streams, I got to thinking... do any of the standard treatment, i.e. filters, aqua potable, katadyn tablets, bleach, boiling, take care of chemical elements? Is there any kind of test to tell if your just purified water is laced with toxic chemicals?
