Once again I am going to crawl up on my stump and remind everyone that Bic lighters are not reliable after they get some age on them. I have always preferred Cricket lighters. I have a handful that are ten years old or more and they rarely fail to light. Never depend on a flint butane lighter. The flint degrades over time. And finally, remember, if you have a butane lighter, no matter what the brand, that is full but fails to light, don't toss it. Hold it open and light it with any fire source you have. Don't waste that butane. Crickets aren't as common as Bics. I have had the best luck finding them in tobacco stores.
