potassium permangate also has another dangerous property, it can cause burns and also wenn it gets in to your eyes, you will be permently blinded. ( unless you are very lucky and can wash away the crystals just in time. )

i personally looked at the pro's and cons and decided it was not worth carring. But thats a persoanlly decision. You should decide for your self wheather you think is worth carring.
