Fanny packs are great for your hiking survival kit and for kids' survival kits. You can pull it out of you pack and strap it on quickly, or carry it on your body.
I agree! There's excellent for grab and go, and I really like the idea of a kids survival kit that's buckled on. They're less likely to be taken off, put down and forgotten.
