That's a simple but brilliant idea!

We were family car camping about 10 years ago, at Bon Echo Provincial Park here in Ontario. When we checked in, nobody said a thing about bears, but we're experienced campers so didn't think anything about it. We noticed a bear trap not far from our campsite and we were visited by the bear three nights in a row before they captured it, but not before an inexperienced family lost all of their food to it. Not the end of the world, and nobody got hurt, but I've always wondered why the park staff don't educate visitors at the gate instead of hoping that they'd figure it out on their own. It seems like an accident waiting to happen. Good on the US Parks staff for taking the initiative!
