We had a similar thing happen here a few years ago. A tree branch broke off(for no apparent reason) and fell onto a car on the highway, killing the driver. I believe that falling trees in the jungle kill more people than snake bites.Nothing like weathering the storm in your hammock and hearing trees crash in the darkness.
