Or maybe "Q" gave us the best advice. We are so hellbent on advancing our technological use, we don't realize we have a whole universe to explore within ourselves.

But we are possessive materialists. So we will have to make quite a few more major mistakes, hopefully survive them, and maybe then we can learn what is so important about our existence.

Personally, I doubt we will make it. Maybe the insects will get it right after we are gone. Like Ripley said, "you don't see them screwing each other over for a percentage."
