I keep it simple, a basic no-name watch from one of the big discount stores. The only "extra" I look for is the date function and large easy to read numbers.

The one I am wearing now cost about 20 dollars---about 10 years ago!. Still going strong. It is on its 3rd or 4th battery, and second band. Keeps perfect time.
