I hate the terms; "emergency use, single use, disposable, throw-away, temporary use, in reference to survival bags, ponchos, and tarps. To me it seems to say, "Not well made". I know some of this stuff is never going to be used for emergency purposes, but I feel much more comfortable with a poncho, tarp, and survival bag that may weigh four times as much but resists tearing, grommet seperation, and puncture.

I have held back to now, but I have to admit I am not a fan of micro-kits like the Altoids kits (I know, I know, major sacralige on this site.). I am more a fan of fanny pouch, shoulder bag, or small backpack as minimal size.

Sorry folks, I just couldn't hold back any longer.
