I use and recommend the Kelty Oriole in summer and winter. The lumbar pack has a large belt and multiple compression straps that you can pull tight to center and stabilize the load. I tend to pack heavy, and this lumbar pack hauls it all. The outside mesh pockets will each hold a 16oz water bottle. I have the grey one, and my wife has the blue.
