She speaks about the impact the economic downturn has had on her, her return to her frugal roots and a scavenging lifestyle. Every article ends with a recipe which uses foraged and homegrown incredients, complimented when they can afford it, by store-bought foods. The importance of knowing how to grow or forage for your own food is becoming a reality for more people every day.
