Just picked up a full aluminum frame Wenzel backpack that is huge.

It has (3) main compartments, and (6) side compartments.

It has a seperate full zipper runnig horizontally at the top or each main compartment and a seperate floor for each of the (3) main compartments. The side compartments run up the sides ((3) on each side) with the top and bottom compartments having the zipper on top, and the middle compartments having the zipper in the back.

The upper and lower main compartments are braced in a square configuration by framing coming off the main frame.

It is all nylon, yellow & black.

The frame extends above and below the pack and has rubber tipped ends on the bottom portion. The main tubing is turnbuckle torsioned with diagonal crossmembers as well as heliarched round crossmembers. The frame also has nylon open mesh webbing to keep the bag slightly away from your body for air circulation.

The bag is connected to the frame by washered aluminum smooth pins and circular clips holding the pins in. It has padded shoulder straps that are seperate from the bag and attached to the frame with the same types of pins as is the waist belt.

The waist belt is heavy thick nylon with a spring tensioned saw teeth style buckle.

It is used, but in excellent condition.

I purchased it at my local Goodwill store for $3.99 USD.

I was unable to find the same backpack on the web, and am curious about what this thing sold for new, and what kind of weight it is designed to carry.
