I think maybe we're suffering a little disaster burnout, so I thought a chat about one of the finer things in life was called for. So...

What's your favorite campfire sweet recipe? I've got two favorites:

I love s'mores, but the standard recipe isn't my favorite. I prefer using soft choco chip cookies and marinating the marshmellow in kaluha first. mmMMM!

Tied for my favorite are Banana Boats: cut a little door in a banana and peel it back but not off. Scoop out some of the banana and fill the cavity with choco chips and mini marshmallows. Then close the door, wrap it in foil, and throw it on the coals, turning it regularly until the banana gets soft. Unwrap and grab a spoon! (this one works great in the oven too!)
