Stanley has a pretty devoted following here. In my family we have both. The Thermos brand name one gets used more because its smaller and lighter. Personally I use the Stanley's. They last longer (mostly I use it to keep coffee hot) and the Thermos ones are too small fwiw. The old timer's swear up and down by Stanley, and I have never been disappointed in the Stanley brand. The Thermos brand has let me down a couple of times (warm instead of hot coffee). I have noticed that pretty much all of the construction workers, and landscapers, use the Stanley brand exclusively. It might be regional but Stanley is considered the best in my area.
