We have been using a Thermos brand quart bottle for three years now. It is the one that has a stainless steel core overmoulded with grey plastic and an integral handle. It lighter than a typical stainless bottle of that size, and has proven nearly indestructable. The insulation qualities are exceptional, and it doesn't leak. We use it in the truck when we go hunting, but with the handle it could be tied to a packframe.
