Um, yes. They are sort of like pieces of heavy wire, bent around so the ends meet and one end easily clips into the other. They have a vague triangular shape with the sharp corners rounded off. Kind of snowman-shaped. They are not the contemporary ones with rolling beads. These are older ones. I used to use one as a keyring. They can be straightened out a bit, and with the addition of string, can become large hooks for fishing items out of street drains. The end that clips into the other end can be sharpened a bit to make an emergency cutting tool. They are totally inoffensive looking, too, but have many applications.
