Hmmm, an awful lot of the smug seems to be from people not in TO.

I grew up in the area just north of the city and worked around Toronto and the rest of southern Ontario for years.
If you find yourself having a hard time remembering the shape of southern Ontario turn your map so west is north and look at it as a circus elephant.
Windsor/Detroit is at the tip of the trunk, Sarnia is the top of the ear, Niagra Falls/Buffalo is a front toe, Orillia is a back foot, and Owen Sound is the elephant's a-hole.
