Ok, my wife bought a pet rabbit about a month ago. On Sunday I noticed he was dragging his hind legs rather than hopping around. He's still eating and drinking ok and his droppings look normal.

She called a vet who said it was probably a broken back, nothing can be done about it. He wanted $40 just to take a look (the rabbit cost $40 to buy!)

Can anyone offer some advise? Don't bother with recipes, he's too scrawny to eat.
