As many have pointed out here over the years, preparedness is a way of life, not something one kicks into high gear when TSHTF.

I'm just taking things in stride and operating as usual (the usual hand washing at work, hand sanitizer in public, etc). Nothing obsessive or paranoid...

I've already been exposed to H1N1 a couple of times (damned near fatal in one case) and didn't find out about until a week or more later (yes, we had precautions, but initiated after we've all been up-close and personal)

That's the way it usually works. I don't find out what's making my folks sick until I've been all over them for a prolonged period...

It's amazing that my annual PPD skin test (for TB) is still negative after 17 years, and I still don't have Leprosy! Go figure...

I'm still more worried about the idiots on the interstate (drunk or sober) than pandemic.

FYI, If y'all find out that I died from the flu, please feel free to post "I TOLD YOU SO!", "SAMHAIN WAS ASKING FOR IT... THE BIG DUMMY", or "I KNEW THAT BOY WAS THROWED OFF".

At that point, I would probably agree with you.
