JohnN, my Vista HCX accepts Alkaline, NiMH and Lithium. Check for any downloads/updates. They replaced the support for lithium, but for some reason you have to PICK the battery type when in the past it knew what battery type you were using.
Oops. I meant my GPSMAP 60CSx. Forgot my eTrex Vista became backup gear in my car.
