I like the idea, but doesn't the the glue from duct and electrical tape become a gooey mess after a while? That would make the paracord difficult to work-with, and make the duct tape useless. <img src="images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

I'm looking at this from a long-term point of veiw. How about wrapping HD foil arounf the outside of the tin and then wrapping paracord around the foil? the foil is flexible but not too flimsy, so it will retain shape, and it will probably slide quite easily. You could even wrap a rangerband around the foil-paracord envelope to make sure it doesn't acidently slide off.

I might try it in the near future. That will give a bit more space inside the tin, a bit more bulk outside, and a bit more foil to work with. Hmmmm...
