So I've always gone on the premise to rotate fuel storage once a year in the fall. Fuel stabilizers I use state they are good for a year and if you double the dosage, good for two years. While I haven't tried the extended time frame, I've never observed any issues with the fuel after a year in my cars.

There's been similar discussion on this in the past, but IMHO - I think more frequent rotation isn't necessary in modern (90s+) vehicles and decent fuel.
