Several people make aftermarket sheaths for this too. But, for a knife under $15, you cannot really go wrong. If you use it EVERY DAY for a year, and have to replace it yearly, you are STILL getting a great bargain. Although, short of severe abuse, I dont really see you replacing this on a yearly level. Buying another one, yes, but not as a replacement
