Good Topic!

I suggest that if you are going to carry a tire plug kit, practice with it.
Most of those kits are pretty cheap and basic and the handle design can make or break the actual usability of the kit.
I had to use the cheapo kit I kept in my car once and it was significantly more difficult than I was expecting.
The plug did the job but had I known how much exertion was going to be required I would have sprung for a better quality kit in the first place. It was a lot harder than I was expecting and I've changed my own motorcycle tires before. I got it done and the plug worked fine but it was a good learning experience.

Those guys in tire shops make it look much easier than it is.
Something to consider if we're expecting our significant others to attempt plugging.

Along those lines, does anyone have a recommendation for a top quality plug kit that they actually HAVE EXPERIENCE with?
