Friends of mine have a police scanner and live up in New York City. They say on a Friday night it's like listening to a bad sitcom.
It sure is. Eventually, I'll set up remote control of the scanner so I can play with the channels from home in PA.
Our network ops guy said I have have 32KB upstream bandwith with his OK, I can VNC in to the system, I just need to get the computer-scanner interface going.
