Well, one advantage to having a lot of common ammo is the barter factor I suppose.

Reloading has two appealing aspects. First, and for most starting out this is the big one, is the economy. Yeah, the initial investment can cost you an extra couple hundred, but after 1,500 rounds that investment has paid for itself. The other, and the one that I prefer, is the ability to customize my ammo to my firearms and/or purpose.
