Good thread, it'll be interesting to see how skill levels match bag contents. I've been a first responder at this job for three years and at my previous job for another three. This gets me a free, yearly Red Cross first aid class plus monthly topical classes. With all that training I've come to the conclusion I'm ready to call 911 at a moments notice.
My first aid kits are pretty much a bunch of guaze and tape. If someone's hurt enough to need more than that I'm not the guy to do it.
My wife, on the other hand, has a bit more hands-on experience.
As my doctor said to DW, "I should just teach you how to do this." Of course, it was her fault my shoulder was dislocated again, but that's another story.
