Welcome to the forum kodiak. Ceramic knives have been around for 10 years now, yet few people really know much about them. I think we are replicating the experience of our ancestors. Flint tools have been refined to near perfection. Who is this chunkhead with the shiny thing in his waistband? Ceramic is everything it claims to be.They are superb cutters. Most of my knife chores involve use bordering on abuse. I know many ceramics do not include prying or bone cutting in their warranty. If I had one, it would be my tool for refined cutting, with a chunk of steel for the rough stuff. The 'Iceman' found in the Italian/Austrian Alps had mixed technology also. I think he would like it.
