I tried neoprene gloves for camping while Colorado 4 wheeling.

Found that they swelled up at altitude due to the closed-cell nature of the foam. The resulting compression on my hands reduced circulation and made my hands cold.

And the cold rubber conducts heat more than more "normal" insulation.

Might be the best solution for fishing when hands might be staying wet but otherwise - not a success for me.

I tried to find my pair the other day and couldn't. No real loss.
