If I'm getting mugged, I figure it'll most likely happen in the city, as opposed to the wilderness. In addition I don't like a lot of bulk, especially if it's a backup in case I lose my standard EDC, or it may be uncomfortable if wearing a backpack.

so I'd carry ID (probably drivers license, but it depends where I am), about $100 in cash, credit card, calling card, laminated paper with: list of contacts, insurance information, medical information (all in tiny print to save space), thin box cutter knife, spare house and car keys.

I didn't toss in any cord because I carry about 10-14ft of paracord in a wrist band. This wrist band has shrank over time so I can no longer remove it without cutting it off, so I figure it's pretty mugger resistant. I would also throw in a bandanna, but I EDC one in either a cargo or back pocket. They fit pretty securely there, and I'm sure they are not a high ticket item for a mugger to take.
