I stepped out my front door and instinctively went into a Weaver Stance with my tritium sighted Mauser broomhandle custom loaded with Foichi cased .32 silvertips. But it was only some PHRASECENSOREDPOSTERSHOULDKNOWBETTER. putting one of those annoying windshield fliers on my Bugout vehicle about some local dermatologist. So I shot a seagull slowly winging seaward from the local McDonalds dumpster in case of Bird Flu. ------PEOPLE I understand events like the University shootings generate lots of discussions as Society wobbles back to some unseen gyroscopic balance. Lets please remember what ETS is, and is not about.

Indeed this too shall pass (sorry that was just gas)
My local city animal enforcement officer was out eliminating some pesky birds (magpies)today from annoying our neighbors who moved in three days ago and have already stirred the pot, guess they don't like birds @ 0530

Thanks for your time
Mike

Uh, Chris, rather than hurting my brain wondering how you were able to keep Broomhandle in a true weaver, what with the location of the magazine, when did they make one in .32? 7.63mm, various 9mms, and the rare Chinese or South American knockoff in .45 I've all seen or at least seen pictures of, but never a true .32 or a labelled .32.

Or is 7.63Mauser really a .311 bore?

I appreciate the reminder.

Remember the bore of a .32 acp is @ 7.62. I actually did pull some silvertips and reloaded my C 96 on .30 Mauser. I don't recommend it though. The load is so fast the silvertip tends to fall apart.A slipped jacket in the bore is never fun. And I never use the Weaver squat. I'm a onehanded Camp Perry man.I figure by the time people get into some preconditioned pose I have one well aimed shot off.

Ah, I never reloaded .32ACP, to little and finicky and I didn't use it enough to buy the dies. I always throught it used a .311" rather than a .308". Not always enough to worry about, but as old as Broomhandles are, I'd baby one if I had one in my collection. Not suprised by the jacket getting skinned off, though. Fast sucker. smile

I see a bright future ahead for you as a writer of pulp fiction thrillers. Just remember to always include a "Beautiful Eurasian Spy."
