Anyone read this 1906 gem on travelers in the wilderness?

I’m half way through the double addition. Although all of the information is very dated I am finding it a great read and gaining quite an education on the reasoning behind all of our modern day camping “luxuries”.

Any thoughts on this book?

This is a classic. Nessmuk, Kephart, Rutstrum, Fletcher make for a nice progression of techniques.

Even though dated in many respects it is a great read.
