If I am really expecting trouble, my backup to my backup is a 32ACP. When I take it to the range, my rangemaster just shakes his head and laughs. BUT, no one has yet to take me up on the offer to "play catch". My usual comment is "It is better than throwing rocks". In the case of the gun you found, rocks would be better.

But it looks like amazing craftsmanship.

I estimate the stopping power to be less than that of a $20 BB gun. But, then again, this revolver does have an awesome cool factor that just can't be measured. If you took that to a range, I guarantee that it would turn heads.

I just read elsewhere that the price is going to be around $5000. Ammo is supposed to be something like $10 per round. I guess that it really is for collectors.

Interesting. And, amazingly enough, perfectly legal in Canada.

Ordinarily, a gun with a less than 10cm (~4") barrel is classed as a "saturday night special" and is completely illegal. Except that this thing only has a muzzle velocity of 130m/s (426ft/s), and is therefore not a firearm at all under Canadian law (firearms have a muzzle velocity of at least 150m/s / 500ft/s).

Anybody know what the effective range of this thing would be? (Effective range in the sense of "range at which you can expect to hit a target", obviously, not "range at which you can expect to have the target notice it was hit").
