Oh, we'll bomb holy sites.

Yes. That's built into Geneva. It's just like you don't shoot at medics if you can avoid it, but if they have a rifle in thier hand while there is shooting, that red cross on thier helmet makes for poor camoflauge.

Wonderful reading, those documents from the Hague and some unnamed meeting hall in Geneva. They should be on every shelf, right next to your nation's founding documentation. (Remember, when in doubt, RTF works for both computers and governments.)

Becuase under the internationally accepted rules of war (those wonderful things that keeps it from turning into out and out brigandige), you aren't supposed to shoot at religous sites, hospitals or schools.

However, as I said, the rules also say that if you shoot from those places or use them as CPs or as depots or anything else, the rules are off. Fair game. It's just like you can't shoot and wave a white flag at the same time, it doesn't work.

You know, ordanance gets hung up on aircraft all the time. Albeit a low probability, sometimes they can finally seperate from the aircraft safety, but unfortunately landing on targets that were not targeted. <img src="/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

I belive that mechanical error is an excuse when you get called on the carpet. You just have to prove it.
