This is obviously a humor post, but he actually had a good idea on improvised eye protection over on page 3. Something to keep in mind when clearing out rubble after a disaster.

I liked the two spoons, that's pretty neat. Thanks for passing along the link!

You only have two eyeballs...

Gotta wear these: <img src="/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

That guy slays me. His experience with starting a fire without matches was awesome.

Regarding eyesight, I'm completely nutty about preserving mine, so I EDC a pair of Wiley X SG-1s with the clear lenses and sports strap in the bag as backup in case of emergencies.

What about something that you can wear every day without looking crazy? I've been looking for some stylish reading glasses with safety lenses, but haven't been able to find anything yet.

I love my WileyX Romer II sunglasses, but even with clear lenses wearing them inside or on overcast days is a bit much.

Any thoughts?

I am currently using oakley metal frame with regular plastic lens. I am contemplating getting oakley safety polycarbonate lens. It is suppose to be very tough for millitary purpose too. I like oakley all metal frame because it is strong yet it looks tame enough for business environment at work.
