Take some cotten balls, vasilien and 1 rubber finger protector. rool the cotton in the vasiliene and keep massaging the vasiliene into the cotton ball untill the cotton ball is about the size of a pencil eraser. once you've done this with about 20 cotton balls pack them into the rubber finger protector and the twist the top of the protector and tie it and you have a water proff tinder carrier. (i also soaked the cotton balls in rubbing alchol beforing rubbing them into the vasiliene(this makes them a bit harder to light but makes it hotter and last longer))

good tip - thanks think I'll skip the isopropyl alcohol, tho - at least 30% water and it will absorb more from the air
