This was posted over at Bladeforums. There are some interesting answers. I didn't do too well (barely alive.)

I lucked out with 14 out of 17 correct. Severly injuried , but alive. I did the worst in the animal section, which is interesting considering my background.

On many questions I knew what answer they were looking for, although I didn't believe it was correct (staring a dog down for instance, which I know from experience works). I answered them the way I would (still) act, so I got many of them wrong.

I'm alive but injured. Interesting answers in the animal section. For example, I answered that I would hit a shark in the snout..as a first line of defense. But the answer already assumes you are bitten. Still, interesting quiz.

I screwed up the dog part myself. I guess I was lumping scary things with teeth into the same category. LOL

Where's the option in which I unzip my jacket and hold out the sides to look as big as possible... HAHAHA

There are a lot of animals out there that instinctually attack if you turn, or avert attention. Dogs are like this if they're used to running in packs.

Especially say Chihuauas. LOL

I agree with the failings of the test itself... IANAL, but I believe one could argue that the questions "assume facts not in evidence" in several places.

In terrorist section you would natural try and memorise the gun man so when the annoying cops stick you one of those interrogation rooms you could be as much help as possible without getting worked up and being banged in a cell for attacking an annoying interrogation officer. I'd rather be shot by Al Quaeda than thrown in a dungeon and have the key flushed down the touilet before my eyes.

Did anyone else notice that several questions had more than one correct answer according to the test? For example, on the tornado question, you could either get in a bathtub or hide under heavy furniture, and the test would accept either answer as "correct." If it weren't for that I would be quite dead

12 out of 17, and I question a lot of the "correct" answers in the animal section. I've known a lot of dogs that if they are pissed will bite you if you just pretend they don't exist. And they won't let go.

I think parts of it are a bit outdated. I can't imagine trying to get all touchy-feely with a terrorist, at least after 9-11-2001.

Well, people do it. Terrorists are ciminals, not supertroopers. When people think of terrorists, they think of the rabid fundamentalist, but it isn't always true. Most of them are young, dumb, and scared. If they are holding you for any length of time, they start to relax, try to talk to you. And you start to humanize. That road leads to Helsinki, btw.

The only thing in that section I had to grumble with was the don't look at the guy with a gun to your head. NO, I'm going to look at him, if even just for a moment. A mook in a skimask, his weapon in my ear- I've got height, body type, voice, age (one eye line at around 21, one more every seven years or so), eye color, maybe hair color. And that is going to be a polaroid moment.

I didn't finish it. When I got to the second situation where the best response was the immediate use of deadly force, and that option wasn't given, I gave up. I ain't going around wanting to kill things, but pacifism just makes me cross
