I just read something someone posted that finished with something like 'keep posted to the weather channel'. Now they may do a decent job of forecasting the weather but my wife just saw someone on that channel reporting on the dangers of the hurricane and the need for people to get away from the "ocean" (while jesturing behind themselves to the large body of water they were in front of). Problem is...they were in front of the Gulf of Mexico NOT the ocean! <img src="/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

I think they can be excused and forgiven on that one, -in that the Gulf is a rather Large and Prominent arm of an Ocean, -here the Atlantic.

Some other worldwide arms of the Ocean, -of course are a lot more Iffy and Problematic!! The Gulf of Bothnia, a Norweigian Fjiord, San Fransisco Bay, the Rio de La Plata, -many others. Even Mexico's and Baja's Sea of Cortez, -can be called into such Question!
