If it had a screw on hammer head and mounted at more of a 90 degree angle, it would be more useful. Looks like a great idea, perhaps even superior to the Skatchet, because it's lighter. Have to tie a rock or something to the stick for added wt, tho.
Pocket chain saw's hard to use splitting spine of a dead cow, elk, horse, etc. Also not much use for driving stakes, a chisel, etc. for no more wt and bulk than this "axe" would have, it's certainly worth having. It would be much easier to make than a Skatchet, too.
