During the old "Duck & Cover" days of preparedness they used to have an adult version that went something like this:

In the event of a nucleur attack,

Remove suit coat.

Loosen all buttons on shirt.

Loosen tie at neck or remove completely.

Undo pants belt and leave hang from belt loops.

Unbutton pant waist.

Pull pant zipper all the way down.

Reach back and grab buttocks firmly with both hands.

Immediately bend over and kiss your butt good-by!

i like how they included ALL emergencies including zombie attack.

"The assailants can be stopped by removing the head or destroying the brain. Suitable tools you may find in your shed inclue shovels, cricket bats, and similar items." - Zombie attack

My shed has everything but a cricket bat... I guess I'm not that prepared for the zombie attack.

Matt,

A wooden (NOT aluminum) baseball bat will do just as well against zombies. And if it's made of hemlock, you can break off a large splinter and use it to kill a vampire. (That's called "multi-use").

Frenchy:

I may be wrong about the spelling, but I believe it is bat feces.

Strong "G" then "new; Gnau.

Alain (Frenchy)

I believe Bountyhunter is referring to gnu (noo) as in the African antelope, or in modern geek speak the ?open source code? of both Linux and UNIX computer software.

Guano is translated the same in English as it is in French, Bat Fertilizer, yeah that?s it; Fertilizer.

Stargazer:

Frenchy had it right.

I though Guano the way I thought it was spelled meant bat turds, but upon seeing the correct spelling realized the pronounciation is different and that it does not rhyme with "do".

Gnu would rhyme with do, but it would not have continued the previous post referencing bats.

Thanks!

... you do realise that there were 'bat bombs' being tested in the USA for use against the Japanese in WWII, right?...

This thread started to remind me of Shawn of the Dead...

It's a bit confusing, isn't it ...???....
