Years ago, I won't say how long, someone came out with a finger tip disposable toothbrush called a TUSH. No wonder it didn't last. Well, Oral B has just re-introduced something similar. Slips on the end of your finger, pre pasted, disposable, etc. Looks like 12 for $3. Convenient and takes up very little space. For what its worth.

Some idiot politicians in the United States gave someone a large financial grant to study the use of green twigs from plants that are used by some underdeveloped people as toothbrushes. You cut the approprietly sized twig, mash the end to the softness you prefer and scrub your teeth with it. Supposedly works as well as anything we have without flouride.
Yup, I was told by an older gentileman that as a child he used to chew on green wood until it was nothing more then a pulp. That kept his teeth in great shape for a man that never used toothpaste. <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
