Ours has diagnosis of autism, Asperger, depression, etc. We think bipolar but that isn't diagnosed until after puberty. Out last few days have been watching our daughter get pushed down the stairs and poked in the privates with a nerf gun as well as having him expose himself to her after his shower and making a lot of sexual threats. We sent her home with my parents to keep her safe which resulted in a big blow up. So the latter half of our Christmas day was spent at the hospital. I spent today ripping off the sheets of drywall that are full of holes and routing recesses in the studs to mount 3/4" plywood before I put up new drywall. Anywhere he exposed wires now he would have to kick through plywood so I figure if he does that I'd need to pour concrete.
Here is where having a bug out bag sort of for each of us is helpful. We keep my daughters stuff organized in such a way that its easy to grab and go should we have to send her elsewhere.
Its not the same bug out to the campground type but the same idea of having items pre-packed for a sleepover ready to go.
